What a lovely day, woke up being cuddled by the man I love, woke up late, wandered slowly through Soho and got a fantastic breakfast from Duke’s Cafe on Old Compton Street, It’s one of life’s little pleasures to have a full fry up breakfast with sausages, beans, hash browns and the rest on a rainy Sunday, just to sit down and relax, and do nothing at all, you can only do it here… and that’s one of the reasons I love living here so much.
Saw a flat today in the window of an estate agent in Covent Garden for a flat on Old Compton Street, which is a nice thought, as I’d be 30 seconds walk from work in the morning: that would certainly be a lot more of a relaxing way to start the day than the current scramble across west London. I’ve never been a morning person, but with the help of Pret hot chocolate and cinnamon danish pastry’s I seem to be able to make it – just about anyway *grin*.
I’m really looking forward to going back to work, I’ve got a mind full of absolutely fabulous ideas of new things to do with some of the clients, and I’m itching implement them with the flair and style. It’s quite interesting how people perceive what I do at work, it’d be very easy from the outside for it to look like I do very little work, but a lot of the work I do is creative, and is based solely in turning inspiration into real world success… It’s extremely challenging, and hugely hard work, but I have so much fun doing it that it makes the hard work all worth while.
